From Pastor E. A. Adedeji, GPA
I came to know Pastor Zacchaeus Omotayo since early 1990s. We became friends as we shared the same opinion on Deliverance Ministry and ministrations. Because of his gentle mien and spiritual principles, he became my right-hand man in my ministerial journey. He was with me while I was still in RCCG as one of our Deliverance School teachers at Ojokoro then. He was the first person I shared my vision of my Ministry with before leaving RCCG in Dec. 1998. He was an experienced minister so patient and gentle that he comes regularly to minister in GOD’S PEOPLE ASSEMBLY.
During my darkest days in Ministry, when I fell sick in 2017, he was the one I found credible enough to stand for me, particularly in our Deliverance Service every Wednesday, inspite of the distance to our church. This he did for almost a year. Well, I have lost a confidant and bosom friend. So painful but let God be glorified for his departure.
I came to know of his sickness when I invited him to minister in our Anniversary last February, 2025, as he stated his health condition. I never knew that his coming to minister in our Virtuous Women Annual Rally last October, 2024, would be my last time to see him. What else can I say? a great man of God of great ministerial stature is taken away from me, when I needed him most. May the Lord comfort us and his family. No doubt, we shall sorely miss him. In fact, I’m missing him already.
